COACH DOM
Dom Vignali is an Award winning Coach, Speaker, and Counselor. He has dedicated his life to impacting young athletes around the country through sport. His passion for coaching began when he was 18 years old and has continued to this very day. He has worked with countless teams training Tumbling, Stunting, and Leadership to athletes who have a passion for greatness.
He has coached in the Allstar Cheerleading industry, within the Competitive Scholastic Cheerleading ranks, and has Choreographed teams for all ages.
A Rutgers University graduate, Dom is a certified Counselor on top of his coaching. He devotes his average day to making a small difference in the lives of his students/athletes.
In his free time, he loves watching sports, enjoys a great movie, and is always on the move!
COACH MELISSA
Melissa Canaan started her passion for cheerleading when she was just 3 years old. She grew up watching her mom and sister actively involved in the cheer industry. She quickly entered into All-Star Cheerleading at just 6 years old where she continued throughout her college.
Melissa has over a decade of coaching experience at both the All-Star and High School competitive levels. She is defined by bringing her teams to their fullest potentials all while inspiring and building confidence through skills. She has a number of years of experience choreographing both High School and All-Star competitive routines. Additionally, she is also a dedicated judge at a number of events throughout the season
Melisa is passionate to work with athletes across the country, inspiring them to be the best versions of themselves.
Coach Melissa is available for Stunt Clinics, Skills Camps, Traditional & GameDay Choreography, and Routine Clean Ups this season under the #TeamDV brand!
COACH SARA
After cheering since she was 5 and having influential coaches shape who she is today, Coach Sara Yocum knew coaching was a goal of hers in this sport. Upon graduation from Rowan University in 2017, Coach Sara was hired as the head coach at Metuchen High School, where she was responsible for the creation of the first ever competitive team and after a short stint, the team had won two state titles.
Coach Sara is also a competitive cheer coach and teacher at Edison High School. During her time at Edison, the program achieved success at the State and National level. She has made multiple top 10 finishes at NCA Nationals and has brought home a number of State Championships.
According to Coach Sara, cheerleading is much more than just trophies; this sport is one that can teach life lessons such as resilience, teamwork, collaboration, and self discipline. A truly dedicated and hardworking coach that sees the undeniable positive effects athletics has on the future of athletes lives.
Coach Sara is available for Stunt Clinics, Skills Camps, Traditional & GameDay Choreography, and Routine Clean Ups this season under the #TeamDV brand!
Coach Imani
Coach Imani is super excited to join TeamDV this season! Imani has over 15 years of experience as a cheerleader and as a coach. Currently, she is a HOPE teacher and Varsity Cheer Coach at Beachside High School in Florida.
Her love for cheer began in middle school and continued through high school. In high school she cheered for her school and a local all star team where she competed at the Cheerleading Worlds and The Summit. After High School Imani attended Florida State University where she was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading team for four years. While at FSU Imani joined UCA and was on staff for 7 years. During those 7 years Imani staffed high school and college camps, was a member of core staff, and ran numerous camps.
Cheerleading is a true passion of Coach Imani and she is excited to share her passion with athletes from around the country.
Coach Imani will be based out of Florida and is available for Choreography, Stunt Clinics, and Routine Clean ups this season!
COACH KHIRI
Coach Khiri has been in the cheer industry for 19 years as an athlete, coach & choreographer. Khiri has a large variety of knowledge from coaching & choreographing Pop Warner teams all the way to the Collegiate level of cheerleading.
Khiri started out cheering for his middle & high school cheer team. Soon after, he found the world of all star cheerleading & dedicated his time to the sport as an athlete for over 10 years. Khiri had the opportunity to cheer at the collegiate level with Blinn College & Sam Houston State University taking home a NCA National Championship.
Khiri has won numerous titles as a coach with his teams over the years & continues to place his creative stamp on all star, high school, & college routines with his innovative, high energy, & fierce choreography.
Coach Khiri will be our ALLSTAR SPECIALIST at TeamDV and will be available for Choreography, Stunt Clincs, and Routine Cleanups this upcoming season!
